Drop-in Clarifier: Increased Capabilities in the Same Footprint
Drop-in Clarifier is designed to be implemented into an existing tank, pond, or other water storage structure on site to maximize the existing storage volume and enhance clarification techniques prior to filtration or other downstream treatment steps.
Temporary water treatment solutions often require an agile tool kit of system components to quickly adjust to existing or changing site conditions. Solids separation on sites with a limited footprint can often present unexpected challenges that require the addition of a clarifier without available space or the replacement of tanks with built-in clarification units.
Rather than reorganizing the job site and impacting the work order sequence to add more footprint and equipment for the water treatment system components, Clear Water’s Drop-in Clarifier is designed to be implemented into an existing tank, pond, or other water storage structure on site to maximize the existing storage volume and enhance clarification techniques prior to filtration or other downstream treatment steps.
By forcing suspended solids within the clarifier media to elevate at a 60° angle, the majority of the heavier solids can be removed. Coupled with flocculation chemistry, this clarification system can increase the settling removal rate by 3-5X over using traditional weir tanks, increasing system efficiency while reducing the overall footprint.
This also allows for sites to manage temporary heavy loading conditions without major changes to water treatment equipment or components.
