The Stackable Tank Multi-Media System (STMMS) is based off of the GRATTIX box idea, as it provides stormwater runoff treatment with minimal infrastructure modifications at the facility. The STMMS is a passive adsorptive-filtration treatment system developed to remove industrial stormwater pollutants with layers of inert and adsorptive filtration media. Pollutant removal is achieved by filtration and adsorption through a multi-media mix which is tailored to the needs of the project. Clear Water designed the STMMS to include additional adsorptive media for a longer media life and improved turbidity reduction to treat surface runoff.
