Clear Water Services partnered with Kiewit and Turner/Aecom during the construction of Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium at Hollywood Park. This included installing, operating, and managing all stormwater treatments during the construction of the stadium while accommodating FAA height restrictions, a nearby fault line, and below-grade excavation. Clear Water was initially called in as emergency response to a flooded excavation, but the crew’s quick action and careful problem solving resulted in being assigned as a preferred trade partner for the remainder of the project. Over the 4-year construction period, Clear Water's field staff worked 24/7 during rain events to remove water from the site, mobilizing with little to no lead time given the sporatic nature of the rainfall. The project recieved 29” of rainfall, 21% above the seasonal average. Over the 2,062 operational hours, more than 42 million gallons of highly turbid stormwater were treated via a 500gpm chemically-enhanced sand filtration (CESF) system utilizing the CS-10 controller, keeping the site in compliance throughout.
The CS-10 control system is a modular, turnkey solution for automated water treatment operations housed in a compact 10’ CONEX box. The control unit integrates PLC-based controls, pump motor contactors and/or VFDs, chemical dosing systems for flocculants and pH, as well as water quality monitoring components and fail-safe valving to ensure regulatory compliance.
Designed for advanced automation, the CS-10 includes remote access and control, data management tools, alarm and alert tracking, system component diagnostics, 4G wireless connectivity, webcam visibility, and onsite weather monitoring. These features combine to deliver a powerful and cost-effective solution that supports remote operations while ensuring consistent environmental compliance.
The CS-10 is fully customizable to match your site-specific requirements and can be scaled up or down as project conditions evolve.
