Chemically Enhanced Sand Filtration (CESF)

Clear Water’s core design and treatment stems from active treatment systems utilizing Chemically Enhanced Sand Filtration (CESF).

This core technology for removing high concentrations of suspended solids, hydrocarbons, and heavy metals from stormwater has been incorporated at a number of facilities and frequently proves to be the best solution for the project site upon further evaluation of water quality characterization and long term operational practices. Clear Water’s systems are designed to meet the specific needs of each individual site with a suite of failsafe options to maximize efficient stormwater treatment, and minimize system bypass events.
